Last night we celebrated my mom's 60th birthday. That means she was born in 1948 so we turned back the clock and hosted a WWII big band swing bash. Check out the invite.

The drink menu included Sidecars, Cuba Libres, and Manhattens. The food was sliders, crabcakes, pressed sandwiches, and rootbeer floats. Big thanks to my sister Jen & her friend Sam who busted out their culinary skills for the great food. One of the highlights of the night was the professional swing dancers who put on a show for us and then gave us all lessons. I sucked at the swing dancing. I also thought it would be fun to bring the camera gear for some old school portraits.
Mom and one of her good friends Sandy.

Jen looked great.

OK, no making fun. Although I did look pretty good.
